The Susquehanna Township HANNA pushed their score all the way to 34 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 45-34 to Manheim Central. Susquehanna Township has not had much luck with Manheim Central recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Manheim Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zac Hahn, who threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.4% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Aaron Enterline, who picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Manheim Central's defensive line and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Owen Eichelberger and Bode Sipel who racked up four sacks between them.
Susquehanna Township's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Manheim Central, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Susquehanna Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Manheim Central will take on Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Twin Valley's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five matches.
