The Indian Springs COYOTES entered their tilt with the San Bernardino Cardinals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Indian Springs managed a 58-54 victory over San Bernardino on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Indian Springs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Zachai Jacobs, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Culberson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Despite the defeat, San Bernardino saw an underclassman step up: George McEwen scored 28 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McEwen has scored all season. Alexis Quinteros was another key contributor, scoring two points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Indian Springs is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season. As for San Bernardino, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
Indian Springs will head out on the road to take on Pacific at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. San Bernardino's road trip will continue as they head out to face Serrano at 11:00 a.m. on January 20th.
