The DuQuoin Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully DuQuoin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.

Eli Maynor was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with six rebounds. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Trelin Smith, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Anna-Jonesboro came up short against Carterville on Saturday and fell 58-48. Anna-Jonesboro has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
DuQuoin's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Anna-Jonesboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.
