Rising Sun's loss came despite strong showings from Alyssa Simpson and Jenna Peelman. Simpson dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds, while Peelman scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Peelman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.
Leading Trinity Lutheran to victory were Jordan Brewer and Marley Warren. Brewer scored 16 points along with five assists and five steals, while Warren scored 17 points along with four steals. Warren has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played.
