Aden Montgomery and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
 River Valley picked up their seventh consecutive win   on Thursday thanks in part to  Aden Montgomery. Montgomery did his part (and then some), making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) for the 'W'. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 88 yards.
 River Valley's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Montgomery and River Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Odyssey Institute at 7:00  p.m.  on October 18th.

Mohave Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to  Isac Urias
  Isac Urias was instrumental in extending Mohave's winning streak to four on Friday. Urias was dynamite, rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
 Mohave pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Urias and Mohave will challenge Wickenburg at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Mickey Smith Delivers Best  Performance of Season
  Mickey Smith produced his most outstanding game to date while leading River Valley to the win  on Thursday. Smith rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns. The  effort  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in September of 2023. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 69 yards.
 This year,  Smith  has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 87.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 76.33  passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 123.13  passer rating.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Triston Urias Leads Mohave over Chino Valley
  Triston Urias produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mohave to the win  on Friday. Urias rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
 On the season,  Urias  has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 25.4 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had one  receiving touchdown.
