The Crawford Colts pushed their score all the way to 70 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of High Tech CV. Crawford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as High Tech CV apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Crawford's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Walker, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Walker scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevon Blanks, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks.
Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for High Tech CV, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Clairemont the next time they take the court. High Tech CV will head out to face Clairemont at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Crawford will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
