Baseball Game Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Maranatha Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, Classical Academy will face off against Maranatha Christian. The Caimans will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Classical Academy has three straight wins, Maranatha Christian has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Wednesday, Classical Academy earned a 5-1 victory over Maranatha Christian.

Chaeton Revilla spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dylan Perry was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two runs, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Travis Perry was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

Dylan wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Classical Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Maranatha Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
