Even though the Sheldon Huskies scored an imposing 60 points on Friday, the Oakland Wildcats still came out on top. Oakland snuck past Sheldon with a 66-60 victory.
Leading Oakland to victory were Jonathan Chapple and Anthony Lacy. Chapple scored 17 points, while Lacy dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Ragasa, who scored 6 points.
The win got Oakland back to even at 1-1. As for Sheldon, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Oakland is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th. Sheldon won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Bernard at 9:00 p.m. on December 2nd. St. Bernard is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
