All-American recap September 24, 2013
Bucktail was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in All-American. Earlier in the week, the Bucks defeated Columbia Montour Vo-Tech 33-18.
Nativity BVM made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,290 from 13,592. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 55-0 victory over Nativity BVM last week.
Eric "E-Bo" Marbury was the best receiver in the league this week as Pius X lost to Louis E. Dieruff. Marbury racked up 5 receptions for 59 yards.
Dashon Russell was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 87 yards on 18 carries as the Royals fell to the Huskies. Tre Jordan also contributed to the rushing game with 70 yards on the ground.
Jordan provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Pius X fell to Louis E. Dieruff.
Josh Kingsborough put up the best numbers in passing as Carson Long Military Academy lost to Hancock. He had a total of 6 completions for 55 yards. Kingsborough's favorite target this week was Brent Romberger, who caught 2 passes for 27 yards.
Pius X's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan has thrown for 686 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Marbury has 14 catches for 243 yards.
