North Mecklenburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kelson Tate out in front who rushed for 32 yards and two touchdowns. Isaiah Mckee and his 86 yards on the ground were also a key factor in North Mecklenburg's win.
North Mecklenburg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for West Charlotte, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.

As for West Charlotte, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Northeast Guilford at 7:30 p.m. Northeast Guilford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 191st, while West Charlotte is ranked 23rd).
