Hoisington made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,714 from 6,886. The improvement was the result of 28-7 victory over the Cardinals last week.
Larned/Pawnee Heights's Easton Palmer and Jamil Shoemaker have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Mid-Central in both passing and receiving yards. Palmer has thrown for 1234 yards this season, while Shoemaker, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 29 catches for 506 yards. Hoisington's Hagan Hanzlick leads the league in rushing yards with 1117.
