  Cooper Bailey was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. Bailey has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Bailey was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Marion got a  massive  performance out of  Gavin Wasmuth, who  went 3-for-3 with four  RBI.  Jack Lanning was another key contributor,  scoring four  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Marion has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record  this season. As for Moundridge, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-6.
 Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moundridge, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Little River on Friday. Little River is coming into the  contest with three straight  losses at home,  meaning Moundridge will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory.
