Cleveland and Franklin played the most hotly contested game in 3A Metro - Sound this week, with Cleveland eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.
West Seattle led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Ingraham.
5-foot-11 quarterback Montique Jenkins of the Quakers is the league leader in passing yards this season with 299. He has also thrown one touchdown. On the ground, the Rams' Darby Blake has rushed for 466 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Blake. The Ingraham star has 12 catches for 125 yards.
A big matchup in 3A Metro - Sound this week will be when Chief Sealth takes on the Wildcats. At the moment, the Seahawks are in fourth, while West Seattle is in second.
Rainier Beach made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,532 from 5,989. The advance stemmed from a 67-34 victory over the Vikings last week.
