Mintz Christian Academy scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Sandhills Classical Christian by a score of 23-22. Mintz Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sandhills Classical Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Mintz Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-2. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 5-0 Christ the Cornerstone Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 75% over those games). As for Sandhills Classical Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
