Karns entered their tilt with Oliver Springs on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Bobcats 17-4. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won 15 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Karns' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-10. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Oliver Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Karns will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Coalfield at 6:00 p.m. As for Oliver Springs, they will head out to face off against Rhea County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
