Noah Putney posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He wasn't messing around, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was his 11th straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Putney and Clover Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Huguenot at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers are a perfect 6-0 against the Falcons going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
