Foshay won the last time they faced Horace Mann UCLA Community and things went their way on Monday too. The Foshay Wolverines breezed by the Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers to the tune of 54-18. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Panthers are ranked 1285th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Foshay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aunisha Clark, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Jauregui, who put up 12 points.

Despite the defeat, Horace Mann UCLA Community saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Valerie Manzo Munguia earned 11 points.
