Priddy is 10-0 against the Eagles since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Priddy Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Sidney Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Priddy has five straight victories, the Eagles have six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Priddy can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest last Friday. They blew past Gustine 56-24 on the road. Given Priddy's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 600th, while the Tigers are ranked 1267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Sidney came up short against the Elks on Tuesday and fell 61-54.
Priddy's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Sidney, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
Everything came up roses for Priddy against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 70-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Priddy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
