Everything went their way against the Mayfield Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 19-4 victory. The Hilltoppers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 8, 2024 (when they won 23-1).
The team relied heavily on Sierra Taylor, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Anderson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Chardon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
