Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Wall Hawks, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They lost to the Wildcats on the road by a decisive 31-12 margin on Friday. Wall's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
Although Wall took the loss, they still got scores from Nathan Pepper and Kellan j Oliver.
Camren Cavalier was his usual excellent self, rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while also throwing for 141 yards and a touchdown while completing 88.9% of his passes for Canadian.
Wall's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Canadian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Wall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Canadian will head out on the road to face off against Gunter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gunter is on a eight-game streak of home wins, Canadian a ten-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
