Sheridan hasn't had much luck against Frankton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Blackhawks will take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Sheridan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Sheridan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Taylor. 17 seems to be a good number for the Blackhawks as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Adria Jump made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Jump was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Amiyah Doss, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Hayleigh Kemp, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Sheridan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Frankton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Tipton. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won six in a row.
Frankton secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Avalee Stanley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. Leighton Shirley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Sheridan's record is now 6-14. As for Frankton, their record now sits at 18-6.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Sheridan has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. However, it's not like Frankton struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Sheridan couldn't quite finish off Frankton in their previous matchup back in May of 2018 and fell 4-2. Can the Blackhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
