Sheffield had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They took a hard 6-22 fall.
No one had a larger role in the success than junior Cameron Woodruff, who brought his A game into the match. He threw 2 TDs and punched in 1 rushing TD. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Sheffield off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Oakhaven a 1-0 record.
Next week, Sheffield take on Fairley at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Oakhaven, they will face of against Westwood.
