Ryan Perrott put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Carbondale is 4-1 when Perrott allows two or fewer earned runs, but 8-9 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Perrott and Carbondale will challenge Carterville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Terriers have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
