The Summit Spartans will face off against the Page Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Summit barely beat Rockvale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans put the hurt on Rockvale with a sharp 10-4 win last Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with Rockvale: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Bella Brennan, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Paityn Robertson, who went 4-for-5 with one stolen base and one run.
Summit always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Page came out on top against Columbia Central on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Patriots took their game against the Lions 10-7.
Emily King made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. King was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Anna Johnson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Riley Vaughan was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs.
Summit's record now sits at 13-16. As for Page, their record is now 23-5-1.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Summit hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .358. However, it's not like Page struggles in that department as they've averaged .393. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Summit couldn't quite finish off Page in their previous meeting back in April and fell 5-3. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
