The John Adams Academy Patriots came into Friday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Forest Lake Christian by a score of 62-54 on Friday. The victory was just what John Adams Academy needed coming off of a 81-24 loss in their prior game.
Forest Lake Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Brendan Hooper and Caleb Fenton. Hooper scored 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Fenton dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Reading, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and four steals.
John Adams Academy's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-22. As for Forest Lake Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home.
John Adams Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Forest Lake Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
