The Silver Valley Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Trinity Classical Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Silver Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Temecula Prep on Friday as they made off with a 22-0 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Trojans just coasted through the last quarter.

Silver Valley's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Javion Taylor, who rushed for 78 yards and two TDs, and Noah Durrah, who rushed for 118 yards on only 15 carries. Those 78 rushing yards gave Taylor a new career-high.
Another reason for the win was Silver Valley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Judah Caldwell was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three himself. Caldwell is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season. Taylor got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Trinity Classical Academy strolled past Webb with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 42-26.
Silver Valley better focus on containing Hudson Sweitzer and Andrew Carlson as the pair were huge in Trinity Classical Academy's win. Sweitzer rushed for 178 yards and three scores while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, while Carlson rushed for 132 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. With that strong performance, Sweitzer is now averaging an impressive 104 rushing yards per game.
Trinity Classical Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 382 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Trinity Classical Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Josiah Saroughian, Aiden Visconti, and Cade Herta picked up one apiece.
Trinity Classical Academy's record is now 2-3. As for Silver Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
Silver Valley took a serious blow against Trinity Classical Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 43-8. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Trojans were down 21-0.
