Lodi is on a 14-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Tracy is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Flames will welcome the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lodi is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past West 17-2 on Friday. With that victory, the Flames brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Abby Schweigerdt was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That stolen base was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tealla Rivera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Pantoja, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
Lodi kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Tracy made easy work of Kimball on Thursday and carried off an 11-2 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted against the Jaguars since February 27, 2019.
Elisa Galli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Jayme Aguon was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Taylor Sansaver was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
Lodi has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Tracy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lodi has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Tracy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
