The Northwest Christian School Crusaders came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna as Northwest Christian School made off with a 68-47 win. That's two games straight that Northwest Christian School has won by exactly 21 points.
It was another big night for Avi West, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Titus Spuler, who scored ten points.
Northwest Christian School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Christian School will face off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Colfax's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 contests. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, they will head out on the road to square off against the Gorillas at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Washington (Davenport is ranked 174th, while the Broncos are ranked 182nd).
