Bradshaw Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh O'neal, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. O'neal has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was AJ Torres, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Nate Sweet was his usual excellent self, scoring 34 points along with six assists for Union Mine. Isaac Zmerzlikar was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 19 rebounds.
Bradshaw Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Union Mine, their victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2.
