Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Lincoln Southeast ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They secured a 63-59 W over Papillion-LaVista. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Lincoln Southeast, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
