Milby is 10-0 against Sterling since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Milby Buffs will head out on the road to square off against the Sterling Raiders at 7:45 p.m. Milby's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Last Friday, Milby suffered a rough 5-1 loss at the hands of Carnegie Vanguard.
Meanwhile, sadly, Sterling is still looking for their first win of the season after seven games. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 5-0 walloping at the hands of Wisdom on Tuesday.
Milby's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-4. As for Sterling, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
Milby took their win against Sterling in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Milby since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
