After soaring to 31 points the game before, The Foothill Trojans were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Mendota on the road and fell 42-7. Foothill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Mendota was led to victory by Bernardo Camacho and Donnie Munoz. Camacho threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, while Munoz rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry.
Foothill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Mendota, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mendota will be playing in front of their home fans against Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
