Williston-Elko is 2-8 against the Trojans since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Williston-Elko Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Williston-Elko is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Williston-Elko was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-51 to the Vikings.
Meanwhile, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler came up short against the Saints on Tuesday and fell 50-42. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Williston-Elko now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Williston-Elko couldn't quite finish off the Trojans in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 and fell 48-45. Can Williston-Elko avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
