The Linn County Mustangs will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Bevier Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Linn County took a serious blow against the Panthers, falling 74-10. While losing is never fun, Linn County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while the Panthers are ranked 131st).
Meanwhile, Bevier was beaten by the Eagles 76-32 on Wednesday. Bevier was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.
Linn County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bevier, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Linn County came up short against the Wildcats in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, falling 55-47. Can Linn County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
