The Stansbury Stallions were the 48-26 winner over the Park City Miners when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Stansbury fell to Park City 40-36. Stansbury has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Stansbury's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Allie Proctor, who scored eight points along with six rebounds, and Bryn Leigh Jones who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.
Stansbury's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.5 points per game. As for Park City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-15.
Stansbury will head out on the road to challenge Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Stansbury focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. As for Park City, they will be playing at home against Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
