Lourdes Academy can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  47-45  victory over Westminster Christian. The  victory was just what Lourdes Academy needed coming off of a  79-36 defeat in their prior  matchup.
 Lourdes Academy found their leader in underclassman  Sophia Sandoval, who  scored 32 points along with nine  steals and seven  rebounds. Sandoval also  posted two  blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was  Sophie Llevat, who  scored five points along with 11  steals and five  rebounds.
 Lourdes Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Westminster Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Lourdes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westminster Christian will be playing at home against LaSalle at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
