Homer's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to  Josue Munoz
 Thanks in part to  Josue Munoz, Homer said goodbye to their six-game losing streak. On Friday  Munoz picked up 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns. The  performance  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 59 yards.
 This season,  Munoz  has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 18.5 passing yards per game.

Big Game from Kneifl As Pender Fell 38-19
 While  Owen Kneifl delivered a dominant  effort  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pender. Wisner-Pilger had no answer to  Kneifl  as he rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
 On the season,  Kneifl  has run in 18 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging one  rushing yard per game.

Sam Hass and Co. Win Ninth in a Row
 Guardian Angels Central Catholic picked up their ninth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Sam Hass. Hass was unstoppable, throwing for 104 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 71 yards on only eight carries.
 Guardian Angels Central Catholic's win was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Pender at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic Wins Ninth-Straight Thanks to  Dominic Johnson
 Guardian Angels Central Catholic picked up their ninth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Dominic Johnson. Johnson turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 31 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making seven total tackles.
 For the year,  Johnson  has averaged 5.1 total tackles per game.

Axton Caskey Delivers Electric  Performance Vs Wakefield
  Axton Caskey helped snap Homer's six-game losing streak. Nobody could stop  Caskey on Friday as he threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.
 For the year,  Caskey  has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 69.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging eight  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 19.88  rushing yards.
