With a playoff win on the line, Bethany rose to the challenge on Saturday. They strolled past the Glenpool Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 63-49. The win was nothing new for the Bronchos as they're now sitting on five straight.
Glenpool's loss came despite strong showings from Tyra Mckinnie and Aaliyah Shawnee. Mckinnie dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 boards, while Shawnee posted 24 points and five assists. That's the most points Mckinnie has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Camdyn Hull, who had five points.
Bethany's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Glenpool, their loss dropped their record down to 20-11.
Bethany wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-47 defeat against Douglass on the 12th. Glenpool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
