The Harding County Ranchers were the 75-41 winner over the Dupree Tigers when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Harding County fell just short of Dupree by a score of 54-52.
Harding County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cohen Smith, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds, and Brennan Glines who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jarett Schuchard was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Harding County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Dupree, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lemmon the next time they take the court. Dupree will head out to face Lemmon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Harding County will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
