Dunbar's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gregory Lomax led the charge by scoring 12 points along with seven assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Isrial Braxton, who scored 17 points.
Dunbar has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Fairmont Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunbar will take on Takoma Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Takoma Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Fairmont Heights, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Douglass at 7:00 p.m. Douglass is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
