Enfield barely beat East Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Enfield blew past East Catholic 3-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for Enfield in their matchups with East Catholic: they've now won three in a row.

Enfield can attribute much of their success to Sam Hart, who had 15 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Hart has posted over her last seven matchups.
Meanwhile, Tolland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewis Mills. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 25-17 in the first set.
Tolland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-19.
Tolland's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Enfield, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-8.
Enfield beat Tolland 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will Enfield repeat their success, or does Tolland has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
