Jesuit is 8-2 against the Patriots since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Jesuit Blue Jays will be playing in front of their home fans against the John Curtis Christian Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Jesuit is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Patriots in Louisiana (the Blue Jays are ranked 16th, while the Patriots are ranked 68th).
Jesuit unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Archbishop Rummel by a score of 41-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jesuit has scored all season.
Meanwhile, John Curtis Christian slipped by the Purple Knights 50-49 on Friday. 50 seems to be a good number for John Curtis Christian as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jesuit's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-7. As for John Curtis Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.
Jesuit didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Patriots when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 46-41 victory. Will Jesuit repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
