Jackson is 6-0 against Edison since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Jackson Generals will play host again and welcome the Edison Red Raiders, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Jackson came up short against Miami Beach and fell 60-53. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jackson has scored all season.
Jackson's loss came about despite a quality game from Jordany Fils-Aime, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Fils-Aime scored a full 45.3% of Jackson's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Robert Carr, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Edison, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They were outmatched by Northwestern on the road and fell 80-17. Edison has not had much luck with Northwestern recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Edison, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4.
Everything came up roses for Jackson against Edison in their previous meeting back in November as the squad secured a 73-17 victory. Will Jackson repeat their success, or does Edison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
