The Westbury Huskies lost against the Bellaire Cardinals back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Westbury had to suffer through a rough 84-30 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Westbury has scored all season.
Bellaire was led to victory by Anthony Andrews and Shelton Henderson. Andrews dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds, while Henderson almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Henderson has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Kohlman Dutton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists and three steals.
Westbury's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Bellaire, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-6.
Westbury will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellaire, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Houston Math Science & Tech has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 22.
