Keaton Jones Delivers Best Performance of Season
Keaton Jones produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pendleton Heights to the win on Friday. Jones rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards.
With the win, Pendleton Heights broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Jones and Pendleton Heights will venture away from home to take on Shelbyville on Friday.

Mt. Vernon Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Joliba Brogan II
Mt. Vernon picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Joliba Brogan II. Brogan II's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.
The victory got Mt. Vernon back to even at 4-4. Brogan II and Mt. Vernon will face off against Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cooper Hinton Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Greenfield-Central got the W thanks in part to Cooper Hinton playing the best football he has all season. Hinton picked up three sacks and made ten total tackles.
If history really does repeat itself, Hinton might just drop another big game when he faces off against New Castle on Friday. When Hinton last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he picked up a sack, made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended two passes.

New Palestine's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0-1. Ranes will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Delta on Friday.

Another Greenfield-Central player making an appearance on this list is Dallas Freeman. He rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
