Jacob Marks posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Newbury Park is 5-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-9 otherwise.
