After five games on the road, East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] is heading back home. They will take on the Klahowya Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] was handed a 22-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Seattle Christian on Tuesday. East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Seattle Christian 52-49. The win was just what East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] needed coming off of a 81-59 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Klahowya didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Seattle Christian on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 52-48 win.
Eli Kraft was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Solvie, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Klahowya, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
