Meanwhile, Williamson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 14-8 to Citronelle. Williamson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Faith Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Williamson, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5.
Everything went Faith Academy's way against Williamson when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as Faith Academy made off with a 26-0 victory. Will Faith Academy repeat their success, or does Williamson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
