After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northeast Lauderdale, Southeast Lauderdale was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 18-2 margin over the Kemper County Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Karly Hollingsworth was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (three). She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Daphine Wright was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Rayden King, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Southeast Lauderdale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Southeast Lauderdale's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Kemper County, they dropped their record down to 0-2-1 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
