Granbury waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cooper Cougars by a score of 56-45. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Granbury pushed their record up to 10-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Cooper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Granbury will take on Southwest in a tournament on Friday. As for Cooper, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cooper Cougars take on the Aledo Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Aledo will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Cooper surely won't give up without a fight.
